I was assigned to be part of a team that will create multiple proposals for the CreativeDrive agency website redesign.
For this one I started working from existing wireframes and lots of freedom in terms of visual creation.
The existing website looked like this in terms of colors and typography:
At the moment, the agency was implementing a new brand identity, which had to be used for the creation of the website. Most of that identity was focussed on printed material, but there were some details that needed to be transferred into their digital presence.

The wireframes for the project were very simple and mobile oriented. The main focus was on the content, since CreativeDrive was a creative production content studio.
The wireframes provided allow some freedom when it comes to the application of the brand guidelines.
Taking advantage of the freedom I was granted for the project, I decided to risk a little and went totally the opposite direction in terms of dynamism, and color treatment. Always trying to stick to the basic color palette that was provided to the team.
Having a clear understanding of the layout for the mobile screens, I started solving the Desktop views for the creation of high resolution assets.
In the mid process, between revisions and approvals I started creating the mobile screens simultaneously.
For the "Work" screen that show all categories I tried exploring small variatiations for the project thumbnail in order of having small parallax animation effects for each one:
