3D Artwork

I started learning 3D because of my dad. He's a Land surveyor that needed help with some GIS (Geographic Information System) visualizations.

After exploring tools for a while, I found that blender was really something. Starting for its large community around the globe, the fact that Blender is totally free (under a Creative Commons license) and is as robust as the tools used by big studios.

I've been learning it for 2 years now and my intention is to continue learning even more. I'll be focusing on physics, particles and will be improving my modeling and animation skills.

During the next few years I also want to start learning Unity with a focus on spatial computing for VR experiences. This is my main goal and the reason why learning Blender is so important. I consider all of my background as a UI designer will guide me to always have the user in mind when creating 3d assets and designing experience for games, virtual tours and augmented reality products.

Most of my learning path has been through LinkedIn Learning (old Lynda), Udemy and Youtube.
I'm planning to stick with those for the rest of my learning path.

I really enjoy creating 3D scenes. The gratification of starting from a blank document and ending with an object that you can basically explore or even touch through VR is really amazing. I never considered that I could learn something like this all by myself. It feels like a hobby!
